OASIS LIBRARY

OASIS has a library of its own!
It is located to the left of the main entrance as you face the campus from the parking lot. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5 pm. The all-volunteer staff hours are 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 pm.

Books are loaned on the honor system. To check out a book or books, the borrower fills out a form asking borrower’s name, date, and author. The loan is for two weeks but can be renewed. The book drop for returned books is on the wall outside of the library. Average daily circulation is 20 books.

All books are donated and include hard cover fiction and non-fiction, biographies, paperback and trade paperback (fiction and literature). Because of the limited space, currently only books dated 2007 or later are accepted. The library also has jigsaw and other types of puzzles for loan or use in the library. The library depends on donations to keep current, so please consider donating your books after you’ve read them.

Our current volunteers are Board representative Nancy Acone, Administrator, Staff Trainer Virginia Hayter, and Joan Bernatz, Jim Carey, Candy Howell, Beverly Klages, Shirlee Nugent, Barbara Toal and Barbara Zinzer.
