The OASIS Travel Department invites you to join them for one of their exciting day trips.
With a variety of destinations from museums and musicals to gardens, gambling casinos and more, there is definitely a trip for you to enjoy! All day trips include deluxe transportation from the OASIS Senior Center to the destination and return. Extended trips are offered through the Travel Department and flyers are posted in the Travel office.
Come by the OASIS Senior Center and meet the Travel Department volunteers or call them at 949.718.1810 for assistance. They will be most happy to help you find the trip of your choice. Trips are sold on a first come-first sign-up basis.

This Museum is probably best known for its love of wheels. Enjoy a docent-led tour of all three floors viewing more than 150 models from classics to hot rods and learning about the history of the automobile. After lunch return to the Museum for a guided tour of the Vault featuring over 250 vehicles from around the world including a 1913 Rolls Royce, 1910 Ford Model T, 1923 Mercedes, 1937 Jaguar, 1955 Ferrari and other iconic and rare cars, motorcycles and trucks spanning over 120 years of automotive history. Time to visit one of our most popular museums. This newest contemporary art museum’s aim is to inspire and foster appreciation of art of our time with a collection of nearly 2,000 works of contemporary art. If you haven’t seen Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirror rooms, two are currently on view and can be seen at no additional charge. A new and special exhibit originated by The Broad, “Shirin Neshat: I Will Greet the Sun Again,” is the largest exhibition to date of internationally acclaimed artist, Shirin Nesha. However, there is an additional charge of $20 to view the exhibit which includes 230 photographs and eight video works. Lunch on your own.

Put on your walking shoes for an action-filled day! First stop will be an alpaca ranch where we will enjoy a guided tour and meet these inquisitive and friendly creatures. You will be able to pet them and will be given snacks to feed them. Afterwards visit the shop with alpaca fleece products. Then to Sugarplum Farms where they have artisanal chocolates and petting zoo. You will have time to meet their friendly and exotic animals and enjoy a guided tour of the chocolate store with an opportunity to sample and buy your favorites. A boxed lunch will be served at their picnic site. From there, we head to an award-winning boutique winery for wine tasting. On our way home we stop at Tom’s Farms.

Travel to Pasadena to visit the Norton Simon Museum, founded in 1922 and one of our favorites. Upon arrival enjoy an included box lunch at the Norton Simon Garden Café. Afterwards there will be a self-guided audio tour with time to view the exhibits at your own pace and perhaps with a stop in the gift shop.
